I like the fact!! Ebay and Paypal just let people use this 45 day loophole again and again. i sent for concert tickets. now, they are normally delivered to the purchaser 2 weeks before concert. Now, being cleverer than any of ebay and paypal workers she's used this loophole buy selling me the tickets in february, hence way past 45 days loophole. All ebay and paypal do is keep the item selling costs and sod the buyers..surely a dispute should be any time not just 45 days.

As a seller I am on the other side of this but issue the same! I sold tickets (in good faith) for pink in concert following purchase from ticket master when tour dates came out in Oct 2012. I sold two pairs on eBay shortly after due to four friends not wishing to go after id purchased them. I sold them on eBay, was paid by two buyers and all was well. The tickets came I sent them to PayPal confirmed addresses by signed for delivery. The day of the concert came in April 2013and pink cancelled!!! She was to reschedule but then two weeks after this we were advised no concert was to take place! I contacted my buyers and refunded for the tickets. I am now seriously out of pocket due to the fees PayPal and eBay charge because the refunds had to be done manually as the 45 days have long since passed!! Tried to contact PayPal with no success whatsoever. They simply ignore my queries. EBay have at least been helpful and claim they will refund the fees they charged but it takes 30 days?!!!! Advice on this one moderator?!!!!

Im sorry but I wouldnt of refunded in this instance, you kept your side of the transaction. It was not your fault the concert cancelled ?

I would not have considered not refunding the buyer?! it was not their fault the concert was cancelled either.

To have refused to refund them would have been totally unacceptable.

The whole thing is down to Pink cancelling and as a result thus far i am about £60 out of pocket! Ebay have not yet refunded either.. Certianly wont be keen to use ebay or paypal ever again for any transaction which may not be totally concluded within the 45 day period ever again!!!
