Payment declined

I tried to purchase something, and pay through PayPal, but it immediately went 'on hold' two days later I got an email to say the payment was declined by PayPal as it identified a risk. Why is this, does it mean the website is not a safe place to purchase from?

No idea, could be for many reasons, why not ask customer services?

I had seen replies from PayPal staff on this forum so thought I might get some useful feedback on here.

They may reply about a week or so later if you have had no reply and if you are lucky.

 

But they can't view your account and would just tell you to contact them via customer services.

 

But feel free to wait a week or so if you want to, I thought you wanted it sorted more quickly.
