Payment cancelled

Hello i made a payment to a game company using paypal. It did not work the first 3-4 times but the money was still taken out of my bank account. My paypal says that the previous transactions where cancelled but for some reason i am still missing a great deal of money from my account. After checking online the only transactions i have made from my account have been with paypal. In my overview sections it says that these payments where cancelled so if that is true then how come the money is still missing from my account?

Takes about a week to work its way back to your bank account.

Thanks for posting your query. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the initial transactions were made under the direct debit instruction with your bank. If they are showing as “Unclaimed” you should have an option to cancel the payment. This will cancel the request to send funds to the Merchant  and when the funds clear from your bank they will be posted to your PayPal balance. Normally it takes 5 to 7 working days for this to complete.

Hello! I have also faced the same problem as above, and I tried to contact the game support team. Eventually, they said that their system will automatically rejected the payment as the payment is held under reviewed by Paypal. Can you tell what was happening here and what can I do to prevent this problem to happen again?
