Money dissapeared

I bought a product on ebay. I paid with paypal, I did not even receive a confirmation email for payment, just a message  at that time from ebay app that the transaction was made. I did not receive a confirmation email and the product was still unmarked as sold so I paid again and it was the same problem, no confirmation email received, just the same message from ebay as the order was placed but the product it was still mark as unsold. I paid for the third time and now I received a confirmation e-mail from ebay and paypal, the product was  now mark as SOLD. When I checked my bank account I realized I actually paid three times for that product. The problem is that the first 2 transactions are neither in the ebay history, or in banking activity, or in the paypal history. I still have to wait another 15 days to download the statement for this month and to see what is happening. Basically the money has gone, are not in my account, either at the buyer or at paypal. Do you have any idea about that? It happened something like this with MoneyGram, money did not appear anywhere, the final explanation from the banks was that "money was lost somewhere on the way", I finally recovered those money after I proved with my statement the diference between my balance and my spents. Anyone else like something like that? Thank you
