How long do you have to dispute a payment?

Thanks for posting your query on the UK Community Forum!
The two types of cases you mention are investigated in different ways by PayPal. Non-Receipt claims fall under our Buyer Protection programme and you have 45 days to open a dispute from the date the payment was made. As an unauthorised transaction may not be noticed immediately by the account holder, the 45 day rule does not apply for this.
