I purchased a watch and paid via PayPal. The watch has arrived but the payment was not taken by the seller. The temporary authorisation has now expired and being an honest fellow I want to pay for the watch. Is there way to reopen the authorisation so payment can be taken? If not what is the best and safest way to pay? Thanks.

Hi NealBuck,
Thanks for posting on the Community Forum about this.
You are indeed a very honest fellow! 🙂 The best thing to do in this case would be to either use the 'Send Money' option in your account to make a new transaction to the seller's email address, or to contact them directly and ask them to invoice you for the relevant amount. Once the invoice has come through to you, you can click on the 'Pay Now' option to complete the transaction.
Hope this helps 🙂
Sophie
