Refund..Funding own account...Account getting funded more than once

When it rains, it pours!  Okay...first, a buyer was dissatisfied with a $300+ item that I sold him, so I agreed to give him a refund. My account was hovering near zero at this time, and the buyer was VERY patient. About a week after I agreed to refund my buyer, my partner, Mark finally got a check and said he would cover me on the refund amount; actually $350.00 is what he was loaning me. That would have been just enough to cover the buyers refund as well as his return shipping fee.  Apparently, when I funded the Paypal account the 350 dollars, then went back and issued a refund to my buyer  (for about  $ 330.00 ),  my Paypal account actually nailed the bank for 680.00!!! Not just the 350.!!  Well, there was money in that account, but not that much money and the bank ended up declining BOTH transactions, costing my account 25.00 for each one..50.00 total fee !!!  And now I'm getting bank declined letters from paypal, which of course will mean that my buyer was not taken care of,,,etc etc . Is there anything I can do to straighten this out, and possibly get my 50.00 back from my bank? ANYTHING! I cannot afford this.
