I sell about 100 items a day and I just use the payment notification e-mails from paypal when processing orders. But about one a week, maybe every 500th order, I'll get an e-mail like usual saying I received a payment, but then I later check my paypal account and it turns out the payment had been instantly reversed so that the sale never actually happened. But by then the order is already shipping and it's too late to do anything.
Why does paypal send e-mails for payments that don't go through, and why don't they inform me when they reverse a payment back to someone?

It happened to me before.
Buyer bought a item from me and then one minutes later, buyer canceled the payment.
The only thing, you can do it's contact Paypal to fix it.
