Getting paid by transborder eCheck

Is there a fee ceiling in the US to receive a payment through transborder eCheck from the UK to the US, as the one of GBP20 there is in the UK?

If not, what are the adventages of accepting to get paid by eCheck instead of instantaneous PayPal payment?
