Can Virtual Terminal be used for recurring payments?

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how I can setup my clients for recurring payments for my consulting services.  Most of my clients prefer to give me their credit card info via email or phone and ask that i set up the payments. 

Would Virtual Terminal be the best solution?
