For one of my customers I setup a web page to manage paypal payments. I did it a few years ago, so I didn't use the latest methods/tachnologies.
The system worked as expected till the end of august.
For the payment I redirect the visitor to https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr
using query parameters like:
cmd="_xclick"
on0=...
os0=...
return=url of my customer website
After every payment the "return" page managed the data that paypal sent in the post o get query parameters in the call to that page.
Now I found in the log of ipn transactions that paypal is sending those notification elsewhere to a url that is in the ipn setting of the paypal account and that neither I nor my customer ever entered.
Is something changed in the way Paypal manages those kind of payments? Why is Paypal sending the ipn notification to another url?
