Vault and 3D secure

Now implementing paypal payment gateway using REST API and storing card info in Paypal Vault. Didn't find anything in docs about 3D secure verified by Visa interaction.

Is that requred for such combo (Vault + REST API) or storing in Vault avoids 3D security?

Hi, the 3D Secure feature is not supported for REST API but you can use it for the Classic API instead. You can refer to this guide for further details: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-pro/integration-guide/security-features/
