I am using JavaScript SDK, but use REST in backend to create a subscription because I need to override the plan.
It is working. However, in the account of my sandbox buyer, I am not getting any details on the payment. Just this
Seller info
xxxxx's Test Store
<email>
Purchase details
Purchase amount
$1,030.00
Total
$1,030.00
It doesn't show the plan name or description, payment frequency, even application_context.brand_name. The buyer would have no idea what the purchase is for if they don't remember.
With createOrder (one time purchase), I can create an item with sku and description and it will show in the purchase details. But with subscription payment, nothing is shown.
In the buyer's sandbox account, when I click on "manage test facilitator's Test Store payments", then I can see the billing ID I-xxxxx and the terms (payment will be make every 3 months, etc). Oddly enough, it shows the plan's name as description, even though I provided a description.
Most buyers will not click on that link and get confused. Obviously, I will send them an email for the details but it'll be nice to show that info in their paypal account. How can I do that? Thanks in advance
