Hi there
We are a platform using PayPal Adaptive Payments )
The API is no longer returning a result, we cannot even access the checkout page.
Are there any known issues with the API?

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.
Adaptive Payments is a legacy product and currently not available for new integrations. PayPal provides this documentation to support existing integrations.

Please cross check your PayPal Business account and make sure it is verified and confirmed without any account limitations.
Try to process a test payment via card which is not linked to your PayPal account. Since, merchant can't process self payments.
If your still facing any issues, please create a MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US with the detail information and error details.
Note : Unfortunately, we no longer onboard Adaptive applications as the product has been deprecated.
PayPal Commerce Platform for Marketplaces and Platforms product is a replacement of Adaptive payments, which serves the similar product experience.

Our application was onboarded years ago and was working until recently. But now, it stops working, could you please tell me if this product is not available anymore, even for the existing applications?

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
