Hey, I received a Paypal Here card reader for my phone and I was doing some research on fees for it. I understand there is a 2.7% fee for every card swiped. My question is about something I read on the FAQ fees PayPal page. It stated; "After a successful authorization, you'll be charged if you do not complete the sale using PayPal Payments Pro: $0.30 per uncaptured authorization"
What is the PayPal Pro and what is an uncaptured authorization? If I use the PayPal Here to swipe a card at an event do I NEED to verify the swipe with the PayPal Pro???
