I applied online for a Paypal Cashback Mastercard and forgot that I had a freeze on my credit report. (I live in SC and their tax database got hacked. Had to protect myself.) Now it won't let me try again even though the credit report is now unfrozen. I called and was told I'd have to wait 30 days to try again. Can't believe they are penalizing a person with a credit score in the high 700s over a simple mistake. Looking at competitor cards in the interim.
