I am having a problem logging into Paypal Here App. Does anyone have any ideas what is happening? (Note that this problem has been going on for a couple of months now)
Heres the info...
When using Paypal Here chip n pin reader with my Android phone.
(Note that the PP Here reader is type is: DCCPCC01UK and was purchased on 30/5/2014
The PP Here app is the latest version 3.3.0
Android version is 4.1.2)
DETAILS IF THE ERROR: I power on the reader, and open the Paypal Here App on the phone.
The reader is bluetooth synched to the phone ok.
The blue bluetooth light is steadily lit on the reader.
On the phone, it asks me to enter the login name and password, which I do
The I tap "Login" at the bottom of the screen.
I am then presented with a screen that says "X A quick security check" and on top of that I get a window that says "Complete action using" and a choice of browsers.
I have tried this will all the browsers (Internet, Chrome and Firefox) and I get the same...
I am taken to a Paypal help screen "https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/article/how-do-I-update-and-check-my-browser-faq3893"
On that page there is a link "Test your browser now" - If I tap that link ) get a message "Paypal_Connection_OK"
From there, I cannot do anything except log into Paypal again.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
