I am a beginner musician and I'd like to share my music on 2 platforms: Bandcamp and Artcore. They handle payments through PayPal account. My plan is to sell about ten songs for 1EUR each one. My first question is: do I need a PayPal business account if I expect to receive a maximum of 10 EUR per month or even per year? If private account should be enough, am I right that there is no provision for incoming transfer? If I do need business account anyway here is my next question. I have read fees table for business account and found that for each transfer there is a fee that consists of: 2.9% + 0.35EUR + currency conversion. So that would be about 40% of value of my song. Could you please confirm if I am correct and more importantly: which account type do I need?
