Pay in 4 saying 'incorrect billing address' even if correct on bank statement and PayPal account

Hi there,
- Issue applies to PAY IN 4 option only
- Pay in 4 plan gets approved, but fails as system claims it can't 'find billing address'
- Billing address for card MATCHES credit card statement address
- Payin4 doesn't SAVE address, rather transaction fails.
- You can only pay in full, but that's not the desired outcome.
- This has gone on for TWO WEEKS. Still no resolution.
- PayPal say 'engineers are working on it'.. Two weeks? whoah!

problem is still happening. Rang to see whats going on and all they could say is engineers are working on it. (this was working 2 weeks ago) how hard is it to fix your address search engine? People on the phone recommended actually going to another service for payment. My problem is the only service available for pay in 4 is paypal and I want to pay before the product becomes unavailable.

Annoyingly so I contacted PayPal again over the weekend this time via email with screenshots (name and address obscured) to show an example of what I am experiencing, but also highlighting I am not the only PayPal customer this is happening to as people are posting in the community forum. The ridiculous advice was to clear the cache, erm ( 🤔) I did not say that I had tried using only 1 device, several were tried using a combination of browsers or apps. There appears to be no accountability for an obvious widespread known issue PayPal is aware they have. Not my devices PayPal

...well.... I tried clearing the cache on BOTH browsers - Chrome and Firefox...and..... THE SAME CRAP!!
Still have the error.. Week 3 and counting.. And to think it's worked fine for nearly 2 years and it seems all of a sudden, almost the same time it just refuses to budge!
WHY PAYPAL?!!! WHY????? DON'T YOU WANT OUR MONEY????

Do you have any updates on this? I am in Australia and currently in the same boat, it is so frustrating. No matter how many times and different format/combination for address, it still not recognize and reject the plan. My last plan was early November and now this happen out of nowhere :(.

No resolution in sight and no fix date given, just an acknowledgement of a known issue on their part after weeks of dismissing it was in fact an issue with PayPals software.... Very disappointing and disingenuous PayPal!!!
Integrity and honesty is key. I'm considering making a direct complaint to the Ceo office with regards to the pretence that has gone on for weeks, over an issue that was in fact known all along, very patronising.
