missing payents from paypal account

Hi, I've been payed for several items i sold through ebay and the payment is marked as received in my paypal account, but there is no money in my paypal account, where has it gone? all the purchases i've made are from my credit card and NOT taken my paypal balance and I haven't made any withdrawals so where has the money gone?
