How to I receive payments for sales I made on eBay? My credit card is the only payment open

My credit card is the only payment option in my Wallet.  

Does it automatically add a charge to my account in the form of a credit?

Example, if I sell something for $20.00, does that $20.00 get credited or deducted from the balance of my credit card?
