I had a direct debit returned yesterday due to insufficient funds. This has now been addressed my side but does anyone know if PayPal will attempt again within 7 days or do I need to make a payment to them if the direct debit appears null and void now?

They normally try again a few days later and if that doesn't work they use any back up funding source ie a card.

I wouldn't 'transfer' funds at the moment or you may end up with you transfering and Paypal taking x2 lots.
