Hi, I recently tried to send someone $825, but unfortunately it was sent as a business purchase. When they received the money it charged them a fee equal to about $23 because of this. She refunded the transaction and I'll receive the full amount, but it still charged her a fee. How can I rectify this mistake? I don't want anyone to be charged because of this.

When you send a business payment the seller is charged a fee of 2.9% + 30 cents in the U.S.
Whey they use the 'refund' option to refund the payment they issue a full refund of which part of it is made up from the 2.9% refunded fee.
The only thing that is charged is the 30 cents which paypal keep as a processing fee.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
