I am trying to send money using xoom. despite having connected through paypal, I am not seeing paypal balance as a payment option.

Yes me too. Read something about only being able to send money to a country if you hold the same currency in your PayPal account. I hold USD. And PayPal do not offer the currency as the country I want to send to. Which is so stupid.
