Wont allow me to send using only " paypal.me" acct

Wont allow me to send $ to " paypal.me" only. Keeps asking me for his e mail & name. Which I D K

Hello @Beatnik1 , I hope you're doing fine.

The paypal.me ID link that you receives might be incomplete that is why it can't pull up by the system. You may wanna use their email address instead to send them money.
