Unable to receive money

My friend in China was trying to send money to my account however the transaction didn't go through for unknown reason. He asked Paypal China and was advised that I need to accept the transfer but there's no way of doing that because no pop up or upfront message to accept a transfer on my account neither on app. What do you is causing the issue? My account is fully verified already.

Hello, @Rhion. Not being able to receive a payment is a definite concern. Some possibilities include your email address is not confirmed, settings in your Profile are preventing the payment from coming through, the verification process is not actually complete, PayPal's Security System is blocking the payment or there is an issue with your account.

 

To check your email address and other settings in your Profile, please log on to your account and click on the Profile icon which is next to the Log Out button and looks like a cog wheel. If you have added a card to your PayPal account, but you have not completed the confirmation process for it, please check that in your PayPal account Wallet. You can see if there's an issue that needs to be addressed by checking the Resolution Center and/or Message Center.

 

If PayPal's Security System is blocking the transaction, or if there's a problem from the other possibilities I mentioned, it may be necessary for you to contact Customer Service via a secure channel to receive further assistance. To do that, please log on to your account. click Contact at the bottom of any page and then select the topic that best fits your concern to see the available options.
