Timescale for clearing payments

Hi. Just looking for advice. Made a payment yesterday (Monday at 3pm). It was aa bank account payment not a debit card. When will this clear from my bank? I need to ensure sufficient funds. I’m thinking it’s going to be Thursday but needed clarification.

Not sure how we would know the answer to that one.

Payments can leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days post payment.
