Sold item on ebay and user ask me to send money vi paypal outside ebay

Hi! I’ve just sell an item on Ebay but the customer tell me that he can’t pay on Ebay so he will pay directly by Paypal. He asked me for my Email from my Paypal account I sent it to him and nect he told me that I will receive an email from paypal in the spam folder. How can I know that this person is not blackmailing me? How can I prove that he made the payment? Because in my account it doesn’t appear anything.

You'll be able know if a buyer paid you if the money sent is pending or already available as PayPal Balance. Remember to not ship anything until you see the payment on your PayPao account.
