Hello, As example, if i decide to buy some goods from unregistered seller, like from Facebook, Instagram or some site or... and make agreement with a seller to pay over PayPal (not f&f option) am i protected? If answer is yes then , please, point me to that PP rule or what ever you call it. I already make some shopping for german ebay-kleinanzeigen. You cant directly pay over this site , you must make a deal with a seller how would you like to pay. My friend says that i am not protected because seller has to be registered and in that case PP can see a bill for a good you buy. If you buy from unknown person the you are not protected. Thanks.

Paypal provides buyer protection regardless of what site you buy from or who you buy from as long as you do not use the friends/family option.

However that protection is not a 100% coverall so you need to read up on it and then risk assess your own transactions.

Be very wary of Social Media sales as they are often tat from China.

Hi and thanks for the prompt reply. I am notngoing into detals about protection. It depens on many things. I need it as general rule if you underdstand what i mean.
