A few days ago I subscribed to a channel on Twitch using PayPal. I told it to use a prepaid credit card I have attached and it used that, no problems. It did not touch my PayPal balance. Today, I'm trying to buy something from Steam with that same prepaid credit card. However, no matter how I have my preference set PayPal keeps saying "if you have a PayPal balance we'll use that first."
I even went through with the purchase because I didn't see this part. I had to get Steam to refund the purchase because I do not want to use my PayPal balance. I've already searched through the various posts here somewhat related to this and none of the accepted solutions work. None of them. The card is already set as my preferred payment and like I said, earlier this week Twitch had zero trouble using that card via PayPal. Why can't I get PayPal to use the card first with Steam now?
