PayPal is blocking my payments.

This is the second day I'm having issues with PayPal now. Yesterday and today I've been trying to make a purchase and every single time PayPal is declining all of my payment options. I've tried added a new card, making sure everything is verified and secure, and even using the guest checkout. However, NONE of these have worked at all. PayPal is actively declining my cards in checkout. The only explanation I've recevied after calling the PayPal help line is that my transaction is being blocked due to their "complex security screening", even though I've purchased from this merchant just fine before. After calling for the 8th time today (5/8 times the automated system has hung up on me out of nowhere), I was told my only option is to terminate my current credit card and ask my card company for a new card and try again. This is ABSURD, and it's affecting my livelihood now. Yet here I am trying to do just that to appease PayPal's nonsense. The call center has been no help to me, so all I can do is post on this help forum praying that someone can help me.

My payments has been declined also.  I have called PayPal several times since March 8, 2021, Monday.  Sometimes, it's whoever answers the phone.  I am going to try again and ask for the Tech Dept. or insist they create a "ticket" for a resolution. 

 

  • There are open M - F  5 a.m. - 8 p.m. PT
  • Sat-Sun. 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. PT

Ask to be escalated to the next level of customer care and pray, that's what I do, that you get someone knowledgeable and professional that can help you and is willing to "go the extra mile" to solve the problem (that many others are having also).  Let me know what happens.  I still need help too!  God Bless You.  👩  You Are Not Alone. . . ..😕
