PayPal account debit

Hi, my account has been debited by PayPal which is linked to an online website. However the error lies in that the funds were deducted by PayPal automatically without the prompt for shipping & order # for this online transaction. Also there was no email sent confirming the PayPal deduction. This is unusual as I’ve used PayPal many times before. The only difference was the prompt to change address. I am concerned a) that my account was deducted B) there’s no paper trail or confirmation of the order either via email, PayPal account or with website (yet). The only trace (so far) is the PayPal debit to my account. It appears that it’s a PayPal issue or glitch? As the website (which I’ve used multiple times) confirmation page or personal email assigned to the transaction has not received notification of the transaction Why did this happen? Would I expect the debit to be reversed automatically? If so how long do I wait? If not, what action should I take?
