Money sent from a friend still showing a £0 balance?

Hello, a friend sent me money. It is showing in my email as a transaction received and also on my PayPal account it is showing it in activity. For some reason my Balance is still showing £0?  Any idea why this is happening?

Just got through to someone on the phone and they explained it is a system wide issue right now and will be fixed asap.

They didn't give me a time-frame annoyingly. They're going to contact me and try and hurry mine through, so it may be worth you calling up too.
