Money not recieved

i was recently “sent” an amount of money but it is not showing in my PayPal balance or anywhere. I know he sent because he sent me the confirmation and all of that. What could it be

Double check the email address the payment was sent to and make sure there was not any spelling mistakes.

Are you sure it was sent? Folks can send spoof info to pretend it was?

Have you verified the email address / phone the funds were sent to?

Was it sent in the correct currency?

Have you had an email to say a payment was sent?

What does it say next to the transaction in the senders paypal account ie sent / completed OR pending / unclaimed with or without a cancel option?
