I'm new to paypal and really need help

Hello so I was supposed to send money to a certain person's ko-fi, but i sent the money before they created a paypal account and didn't know about it. After I sent the money, it said it was sent to their e-mail, but they didn't have an account yet. After they created it, they checked their balance and no money was there, but it took it from my account, i really need help, anybody knows what to do?

Does it say completed next to the transaction in your paypal account OR unclaimed and if so is there a cancel option or not.
