How to pay an Ebay seller an additional amount to ship via more expensive (but faster) method?

I purchased an item on Ebay that the seller advertised shipment via USPS first class mail. I purchased it via paypal, and asked him in the comments and via a message to please ship via USPS Priority mail. He did so. I owe him additional funds for the difference in cost. The transaction in Ebay is done. I am unable to send in funds in Paypal because we can't share contact information in Ebay (which is stupid, since we've formed a relationship), NOR can I see the paypal transaction in my recent paypal list so I can see his paypal address and send him funds. Why is that, and where are all my ebay paypal transactions? The real question is, though, how do I pay him the $17?
