I am travelling in Europe and have been BLOCKED by PayPal from purchases and there is no direct way to contact them back in the US. What do I do now???? I would hope this is a quick fix but I am betting it won't be.
Paypal is 'country specific' so if you suddenly start using it in another country (without telling them before you left), then they are going to suspect your account has been hijacked and being used by a scammer in another country.
Normally they ask you to 'verify' your i.d. via sending a text message to the mobile phone linked to your Paypal account.
Advice is voluntary. Kudos / Solution appreciated.
