Won the auction. Payment made using my credit card registered on PayPal. Goods received. Payment not received by Seller. So I'm sitting pretty with the MacBook I bought. But eBay and PayPal are unable to resolve the issue that the funds have not been released to the Seller! I've spent hours trying to help get this resolved with both eBay and PayPal. Even sending a screenshot of my bank statement showing the payment has gone out. And even managed to get the Transaction ID for the payment from eBay which is what PayPal need. I know it's up to the Seller to resolve but poor lady is getting nowhere with them. Any suggestions anyone?
What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?
1. Pending (with a clearance date) 2. Pending/Unclaimed with a cancel option. 3. Pending/Unclaimed withOUT a cancel option. 4. Payment or Sent. 5. Pending/Uncleared with a clearance date. 6. Pending awaiting authorisation.
Advice is voluntary. Kudos / Solution appreciated.
For some strange reason it does not show in my PayPal account. eBay have a record that the payment transaction has taken place. I suspect that information has failed to transfer across to PayPal for some reason. Or it has but it is not showing in my account activity record.
