Fees on sending and receiving money transfers

Hello Everyone! I'm currently using a Personal Paypal Account but my part-time employer in the US asked me if I can upgrade it to a Business account cause when he tried sending me my pay for the week there's a fee included on his transfers that he shoulders. Will there be no fees on his part if I changed my personal account to business? Any suggestion if what's the best thing we can do to prevent fees? Thanks for the help! Take care! Mica

There is actually no way for you to avoid the fee unless your employer sends you the money as "family and friends" using their paypal balance or their checking account. The fee that he shoulders, that's probably a fee for using a debit or credit card as "family and friends".

If they will send you the money as "goods and services" then you will be the one who will shoulder the fee.
