Anyone else notice how much more you are paying in foreign purchases in your PayPal transaction vs what Ebay says the conversion is?? It is 4-5% MORE THAN QUOTED BY EBAY... I have noted that it also is 4-5% worse than Discover or Visa rate.....so I am now going to pay for my foreign currency transactions (particularly those items purchased from Canadians) with my Visa or Discover cards. (Just paid for a camera that Ebay should as a $240 transaction and Ebay charged me $249!) PayPal does not allow, nor accept questioning of the rate, which is obviously excessive.
