I was asked to make a business account but it charges me every time I get a payment internationally. I don't own a business and I don't want to pay unnecessary charges. Is there a solution and the reason why the charges are levied?

You pay a fee as a seller regardless of your paypal account type.
Paypal charge you for processing your buyers payments for you.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Sadly the personal ie gift/friends/family option is not available in your country so all payments have to be sent as goods/services regardless of account type.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
