Issue with "Connect PayPal" on BuyMeACoffee.com

BuyMeACoffee.com is a web service which has integration of PayPal. The service has a feature like people can send small amount of money to me so that I need to connect my PayPal account to BuyMeACoffee.com. The following video shows connecting flow of their service to PayPal.

However, I am now having a touble connecting it to PayPal. In the video above, the last page says like "Thanks for signing up!", but when I tried the same way, I always got redirected to https://www.paypal.com/mep/dashboard. Do I have to tweak my setting on PayPal or something?

I have already tried getting help from the customer support on the service, but the customer support says the problem I have now is all caused by PayPal side, so I am now asking here about my problem. Please help me out.

Hey please try to remove API permission for Publisherr, Inc (buymeacoffee) by visiting this page.
Then try to reconnect from an Incognito tab or a different IP address.

Hi, buymeacoffe does not appear in my Merchant list because I have never been able to connect them

Me neither. I am still looking for the way connecting my PayPal account to it, but almost giving it up.

I figured out what the hold up is. You need to have a verified business account and not a verified personal account, otherwise it won't work.

So, either create a separate Paypal business account and get verified and submit your login through that site or convert your personal account into a business account and then get verified.

Hi, everyone. I have just tried connecting PayPal on BuyMeACoffee again today, and now it just worked fine. I now got it connected.

I actually did anything special to fix it by myself, but just leave it for months. My thought here is this problem might have been caused actually by BuyMeACoffee, and they have fixed it up without letting me know... perhaps.
