how to share my info with web developer

Hi Fellow Paypal users.

I am using a third party web developer and like to integrate paypal payment in my website.

What are the information that can be shared with third party developer that will not compromise my paypal account?

Does sharing web API and secret code consider "dangerous"?

Appreciate some one can help on this.
