Hi. You used to have shortcode that would place a 'BUY' button on a website but when I use that again, it pops back out on the clients page and the personal can't buy anything, gives me an error code "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." All I need is a simple button and don't know javascript and don't want to code. Can you HELP me?!? Or if you tell me to copy your button code somewhere I can do that. Thanks in advance, MargoBdesign.com

PayPal has been moving all of their payment products into the new "PayPal Commerce Platform" which is entirely API driven. Along with this, they have indeed removed the original Button Builder where you can create and obtain simple HTML to drop into a page.
I see that you are using WordPress. As such, I think you'll like my "PayPal Button Manager for WordPress" plugin: https://www.angelleye.com/product/wordpress-paypal-button-manager/
I'd be happy to provide a free copy for you to play with. Just sent me a PM and I'll get you a link.
We basically recreated the original PayPal button builder that you're referring to within a WP plugin using the old Button Manager API that they provided. It still works now, but there's the even better news.
We have been working to update that plugin so that it runs on the new PayPal Commerce Platform. We have it all done in-house, and we're just doing some final testing and polishing it up a bit before we release the update.
It will allow you to create buttons using a simple interface like you are used to, and then it will make those buttons available as shortcodes and in Gutenberg blocks so that you can easily drop buttons anywhere you want on a page.
I think it's exactly what you're looking for. Again, it works now on the old stuff, and within a couple of weeks we'll be releasing the update that gives you all the new stuff including the PayPal buttons with Pay Later, Venmo, Apple Pay, etc. as well as direct credit card processing through PayPal's new "Advanced Credit Cards", which is part of the Commerce Platform integration.
I think you'll find it useful. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about that. 🙂
