My website, MyButtonBuddies.com, uses legacy checkout buttons.  Since September I have had a great reduction in sales.  It seems to be related to customers using the Guest option to checkout without PayPal whether they have a Paypal account or note.  Help!!!

Good day @ToniSzilagyi,

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

PayPal runs a risk check to determine eligibility for guest checkout. This should be an issue with the customer/buyer funding instrument.

Please process a test payment via card which is not linked to your PayPal account, since merchants can't perform self payments.

Important : PayPal Website Payments Standard (WPS) is a legacy integration.

We recommend merchants to integrate our latest PayPal Checkout (Smart button) product.

Please follow the steps provided in the below detailed guide links :

https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/

https://developer.paypal.com/demo/checkout/#/pattern/server

https://developer.paypal.com/integration-builder/

If your still facing issue, please create a MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  with the detail information and error details.

Sincerely,

Chiranjeevi

NO, my issue is still not resolved.  I am still not getting any orders for my online business.  Could you please look at my html fine or  see for yourself how the website works with the "add to chart" PayPal buttons?

I was not able to test the new version of  PayPal in my production on-line website.  The reason is that the current PayPal version lists all the credit cards available, associated with PayPal or not, after entering the one time code that is given and entered.  So I cannot best a customer without PayPal making a charge.

I have 75 "add to cart" buttons generated as legacy code on my website.  It would be a time consuming task to replace all these buttons.   Is there a smart "add to cart" button and how do I create this new button?  Also, from a google search, I see that many companies and developers have reported problems with the new Smart Checkout buttons.  So, I am not sure I want to invest so much time and may not correct my problem.  I previously spoke with two PayPal technical support persons who told me that the legacy buttons should work.

I am a small company and develop my own website at home.  I regret that PayPal has removed the ability to test my own website logged in as the "seller".
