Can I change an item number after purchase? We are a small theatre and a patron would like to change her tickets to a different date. We would like to do this so that our max items sold can correspondingly change.
For instance, Ms. Smith bought two tickets for our Little Women show on June 1st (item# LW-20220601). She's discovered that she cannot make that date and would like to switch the tickets to June 8th (item# LW-20220608). Each item number has a limit/max sold of 80 (we have an 80-seat theater). There are currently tickets available for June 8th, so we have room to accommodate her request.
We don't want to refund her money and have her purchase two new tickets if there is a way to avoid that. We *could* futz with the max sold number and change June 1st's show to 82 seats and June 8th's show to 78 seats, print out the tickets list, and manually move her name on our sheets, but I'm trying to keep things accurate and avoid that kind of confusion.
I've looked in this forum and haven't found anything other than a similar question posted many many years ago that never got answered. I've poked around the account pages as well as the knowledge base and haven't found anything. Anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks.
