I am setup as a Charity (Harrogate Saint Andrew's Players) already with PayPal and am very grateful for the deep discount they give us already for using PayPal to take payments.
Can anybody confirm if I am to expect the highly publicised rate of 2.75% - or do registered charities get charged a lower rate?
Thank you very much.

Hi there,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the community!
PayPal offers a special fee rate for charities, depending on the country your account is registered in. If you run a non-profit organisation you can apply for this low rate. You have to have a verified Business account and have specified your business as 'Non Profit'. Once you have applied, PayPal will review your application and notify you of the outcome.
I hope this helps,
Jenny
