#FreelanceWorkstation 

What makes this workstation special is because this is my daily routine. I'm attached on this tiny office 7 hours a day and i love it. This is my life and this is how i used to earn for living.

My #FreelanceWorkstation as a freelance webdesigner :). Paper and pencil is my special item, tablecloths with newspaper in it, so if I get bored I can read it :D,  i like play games in the dark room with a little light

Hi, I'm a freelance illustrator and this is where all the magic happens. A small table in the corner of my room. Maybe just your typical "artist" desk, some markers, a laptop and a tablet, but no matter how typical it may seem to others, it's my special place. This is where I find myself, getting an idea, making that idea come to life, and sharing those created ideas with people online. All my anxieties, my fears, my anger and the things that makes me laugh, I throw them all in this workspace.

So I checked my email the other day and got this link from paypal, funny thing is that I just posted a blogpost regarding this workstation setup a few hours before it.

Anyway, here's the setup for my workstation in the corner of my tiny apartment; my main workhorse is a 2011 mbp (need to retire this dude soon) , ViewSonic from 2010 I think (this guy will need to retire soon too) and an iPad mini connected using DuetDisplay, which is a good thing for me since i can postpone my urge to purchase a new monitor and just use the ipad instead.

What so special about it? Honestly nothing much! But they sure have worked hard along with me these past years and surviving the freelance world, I can literally work remote and from anywhere using this setup (well aside from the viewsonic which isn't mobile at all, but hey when I can't have a triple setup, then dual monitor is still better than single display, right?) 😄

What makes it special is that it really simple and personally I think I am comfortable with this setup. Everything can be done here from writing to drawing illustration, even eat here lol.

Every great things start from this simple and clumsy desk.

Hi,

     After 14 years of working in the corporate world, leaving and deciding to go freelance, was the biggest decision I have made. To move on and see a different view while working in the comfort of my home, I decided to set a workstation up totally different from what my corporate office space looked like. I made sure that everything in my own little space has my personal touch. From renovating, recycling, and DIYs, mostly, I have captured the perfect place for a newbie freelancer that is me!
