This is my #PayPalFreelancer Workstation. Maybe it's not as superwow as other freelancer's. But I'm happy that at least, this is my own house. Finally, after years of living in a rented house, I can have a house of my own (woohooo!!). Why is this small corner in the livingroom special for me? Because from this place I can watch over my 2 years old daughter while working. And the sunlight coming through the window, helps me build a good mood everyday. Work or family? BOTH, of course 🙂

Being a mother with three kids is very challenging but having a fulltime job with my kids playing around my back is more fun. I do not need to go to the office and worry all day about them, I am more confident that they were safe as I can monitor them from time to time. Working at home is the best experience I really have. I earn money plus I gain quality time with my loved ones.

Having my #FreelanceWorkstation at home is pretty awesome because I can work in any way I want. Being a full-time mom and a freelancer at the same time gives me the freedom to set my hours. I tend to limit the things I put on my workstation so I could have fewer distractions which allow my creatives juices flow. It is the place where I could be in my world.

Hello! I'm Aillen Abelita (ajd.abelita) from the Philippines. This is my #FreelanceWorkstation. This is where I do most of my traditional art. I mostly paint using watercolors and then I scan them and turn them into bookcovers and illustrations. I have another work station where I have my computers where i edit my illustrations or where I do my digital art but I chose to upload this photo because this is where it all starts. This is where the magic happens, if you will. I've had my table for almost 10 years and we have been through so much. It looks rather gloomy today because of the storm coming. Have a nice day everyone.

What makes it special?
I have just started my new career as a Freelancer Virtual Assistant last October of 2015. I quit my Job as a Medical Rep for 11 years. I started all over again with my new life with a new career. My workstation is not that very impressive with no latest or state of the art gadgets. Only an old HP Laptop, a headphone, a study lamp and some accessories. These things that you can see in my workstation are very special to me because each of it have a sentimental value. The laptop was lend to me by a friend inorder to do my work as a VA. The plastic plant and a giraffe figure was given to me as an encouragement by a friend for my new career. And the study lamp was the first item that I bought with my pay as a VA. I took the pictue at night because that time where I do my work.
