Being a freelancer to me means I can provide my wife and kid a better life since this line of work certainly pay more than most of the job available in my country.
I can still hug my baby and ease her cry while working on a complex project and meeting with my client in another continent.
I've met new friend, acomplish difficult mission and even build rock solid cooperation with people halfway across the world right from the corner of this room.
This room is special since it provides me with everything I need to success as a freelancer.
I won't trade this room for yours.

I work as a homebased online English tutor, and being a freelancer has its amazing perks. Please excuse my messy desk! As a freelancer, I can do my favorite hobby (Rainbow Loom) in between classes.
I can write in my journal, organize my schedule, or even take a nap during my free time. 🙂 I also read books. Everything is within my reach! In addition, my little workstation is just in the corner of my bedroom.

This is my workspace. I am a student at a college in a tropical country. physically, there is nothing special about this room. however, this room is a silent witness of a great decision I take in life. here, the first time I lived independently until now. I rent this room from my work as a freelancer. Also here I met my clients, do my jobs, hanging out with my friend, rest from weariness, and give birth to my ideas. I love this room because there is no tense when dealing with clients as I can talk of the job with a family atmosphere. many of the clients, who used to entrust jobs to me, become my friends now. furthermore, in this simple room, I can produce something that is not simple, at least for me. This is my work space and this is the room where I live.

As a freelance artist, at times clients don't know what kind of illustrations they need. So as an artist, I need to be ready to provide concepts and suggestions. It's not always easy to come up with a design in an instant. Solution? I can easily look behind me and grab a book for inspiration. My books definitely got my back, pun intended.

As an editorial and print designer, i always made my scratch on screen. Zero paper? Not really, just because i'm not too good with sketching by hand. Sometimes, paper just appeared as mail and envelopes (top-left) or print approvals for offline project. What about living thing as a companion? Yeah, i just thought nice idea to invite some bushes on my desk.

Hello #PaypalFreelancer community!
How are you all doing? Attached is a photo of my workstation at home. It is the same corner in my bedroom where I put the souvenirs I collected from various places that I have visited. Based on the pic, can you guess where I have been?
I love to travel and seeing these mementos allow me to reminisce my experiences in the places where I got them from. These colorful objects on my workstation also encourage me to work harder so I could cross off more items in my places-to-visit list!
May everyone of you have a successful career as #PaypalFreelancers!
Best regards,
Ulpiano Edubos II
